Interlibrary loan service is offered to Branford residents with current library cards and no fines or fees over $10.00. Non-residents should request interlibrary loan items from their hometown library. You may request up to 6 interlibrary loans per month which includes books, CDs, videos or DVDs. We are not able to request brand-new items or computer media (such as the Rosetta Stone language learning program) through interlibrary loan.
***** The State Catalog, reQuest, will not be available after June 30, 2015. *****
If you are a Branford resident and you would like to request a book from another library, please search the LION libraries catalog first. If you are not able to locate the title, you can search Bibliomation, CONSULS, Library Connection or any of the library catalogs listed below.
Once you locate the title, please email the Blackstone Library to request the item or call the Reference staff at 203-488-1441, ext. 318. Please include the title and author and indicate which library catalog lists the item.
You will be notified by telephone or email when the material arrives. Items are held at the ground floor lending desk.
If you have any difficulty placing an interlibrary loan request, you can call the Reference Department at 203-488-1441, ext. 318.
