Build with Us – A Roblox/Gaming Group for Middle School Students (Computer Lab)

Enjoy gaming and playing Roblox BUT want to pop into the Library when you know folks are going to be around? Join our Roblox/gaming club that meets for an hour every Thursday in our computer lab. We will provide an hour long session on our computers along with stereo headphones so that you can connect, socialize and build upon your avatar with friends along the way.

Before heading to the computer lab we will meet in Youth Services Department so that we can we head upstairs together and begin playing at once.

BTAG: Teen Advisory Group – High School & College Students

The Blackstone Teen Advisory Group, or BTAG, is an exclusive weekly club for high school & college students, where members work with the Teen Librarian (Miss Sarah) to select books, plan programs & work on special projects. Every meeting includes free snacks, games, & a chance to improve the library for you & your friends! After all, a renovated Teen Space is coming soon & we need YOUR input to make it awesome.  Plus, for each meeting you’ll earn 2 hours of community service. Join us Thursdays from 4-6 pm. We have started a cookbook club for families and we want to include you! Here’s how it works, stop by the Youth Services Department for this month’s cookbook. Review the recipes with your kids, test a few out and then the night of the meeting bring in something delicious to share. During the meeting we will eat, talk about the book and whether or not you would recommend it to your family and friends. We promise this will be a great way to meet people and share in the joy of cooking as a family!
