Saturday, September 23
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
If you have an interest in creative writing, you know that getting started can be the hardest part! This workshop will teach you how to jumpstart your writing process and set yourself up for success every time you sit down to write. Students will build a virtual writer’s “toolkit” by working through a series of exercises designed to help them learn their personal strengths and weaknesses, adapt their writing around their particular skills, create a writing resource library, and set achievable goals for themselves. Beginning writers of poetry, fiction, and memoir welcome. This is a two-part workshop. Registration required. Please note you are registering for both sessions, on September 9 and 16.
Part One: Saturday, September 16, 10 am-12 pm (auditorium)
Part Two: Saturday, September 23, 10 am-12 pm (Lucy Hammer Room)
Workshop led by Sarah Bradley, instructor and writer for BranfordSeven.com.
