Interlibrary LoanPlease search our online catalog first before requesting a title from the State catalog. Interlibrary loan service is offered to Branford residents with current library cards and no fines or fees over $10.00. Non-residents should request interlibrary loan items from their hometown library. You may request up to 6 interlibrary loans per month which includes books, CDs, videos or DVDs. We are not able to request brand-new items or computer media, such as the Rosetta Stone language learning program, through interlibrary loan. How to Use the State Catalog: Type in your keywords, and click "Search." Click on the title you wish to borrow. Click "Request this item." Fill in your personal information. Click "Submit." You will be notified by telephone or email when the material arrives. Items are held at the ground floor lending desk. If you have any difficulty placing an interlibrary loan request, you can call the Reference Department at (203) 488-1441, ext. 318. |
