2019 Teen Summer Reading

The universe is full of stories.

…What’s yours?

Don’t just read a story. Become one. This summer, the Teen Services Department @ Blackstone Library is blasting off in a space-themed exploration of the stories that drive us. But we’re not just challenging you to read this summer…we’re challenging you to CREATE. We want you to share your stories with us. How you share is up to you…

Is there a book that inspires you? Share your thoughts in a book review. Do you daydream adventures while staring out bus windows? Submit your poetry or short stories. Are you more artistically inclined? Submit your own original song or work of graphic art.

However you choose to share, your story is important. And @ Blackstone Library, we can’t wait to see what you’ve created! For every submission, middle, high school, and college-aged teens will receive one entry in our Summer Raffle. Plus, your book reviews, writing, and art might be featured on the library’s website & Facebook page. So why wait?
