Teen Volunteer Opportunities

Need community service hours for school? Want to donate your time to a worthy cause? Like free food?

Are you a high school student? Blackstone’s TAG (Teen Advisory Group) is a weekly club for high school students, where members work with the Teen Librarian (Miss Sarah) to select new books, plan programs, play-test games & make the library a more awesome place. Join today to earn 2 hours of community service each week. And did we mention there’s free snacks? The club meets every Thursday from 4-6pm. To register, fill out this application or email Miss Sarah (teens@blackstonelibrary.org) for more information.

Are you a middle school student? Our Junior Tween Advisory Council (JTAC) is a weekly club exclusively for middle school students, where members work with Miss Carly and Miss Sarah on crafts, special projects, and other activities that help the library. To find out when we’re meeting and see if there’s room to join, email us today: teens@blackstonelibrary.org
